to Press for Action… a
new program that offers resource-strapped non-profits the opportunity
to conduct high-level media relations outreach AT NO COST!
The goals of the program are straightforward:
- To help Boston area non-profits generate meaningful press
coverage and build awareness, and
- To enrich our community with inspirational and thought-provoking news content.
How it works
Every quarter, Louder
Than Words selects one Press for Action partner—a 501(c)(3) non-profit based within the greater
Boston Metro area. After an initial meeting to examine organizational
goals and timely initiatives, we develop a succinct, one-month
media relations program. While the scope of each program varies,
it typically involves 20 to 40 hours of media outreach on a partner’s
behalf. Press for Action partners receive the full complement
of services that Louder Than Words’ clients receive:
media training, interview briefing materials, clipped versions
of all secured press, and direct access to a designated account
representative. Additionally, we provide our Press for Action
partners with comprehensive media contact lists (including
phone numbers and e-mails) so they may continue growing the
relationships that were established during the Press for Action
engagement.
How to become a Press for Action partner
Louder Than Words looks for inspiring, purposeful, unique, and passionate Press for Action partners. Size is not an issue. We have worked with one-person organizations as well as organizations that span the globe. Please complete this brief questionnaire, telling us about your organization, its mission, and its marketing efforts to date. All submissions will be carefully considered and responded to as promptly as possible. If an organization is not selected for the program, we will keep the request form on file for future consideration.

Why Press for Action?
Since
day one, Louder Than Words’ mission has been to promote
the exemplary actions made by individuals and organizations.
Unfortunately, many of Boston’s most inspiring
individuals and organizations lack the necessary funding and
resources to pursue structured media relations outreach. Consequently,
some of our community’s most compelling and enriching stories
are not being told. Press for Action is the actualization of
our corporate mission, and the most direct way in which we can
give back to this community.
